WHAT:
Intuit QuickBooks is coming to Atlanta this Thursday
with Square and Bigcommerce
to help local small businesses, self-employed workers, developers and
accountants with all they need to succeed. QuickBooks
Connect Atlanta will be held at 200
Peachtree on June 25, and feature multiple sessions with hands-on
tools and resources developed to fuel attendees’ businesses.
Big Opportunities to Win
In addition to participating in
breakout sessions and networking opportunities, Atlanta attendees have
two opportunities to win big and boost their businesses as a result.
Small businesses will be able to enter QuickBooks Small Business Big Game, a program where one lucky winner will receive an expenses-paid, 30-second television commercial during professional football’s biggest game. In addition, attendees will have the chance to win an expenses-paid trip to attend the annual QuickBooks Connect national event in San Jose, Calif., on November 3, 2015. Confirmed speakers for the event currently include The Honest Company’s Jessica Alba, founder and chief creative officer, and Brian Lee, co-founder and chief executive officer.
Access to Top Entrepreneurs and Experts
The first winner of
‘The Apprentice’ Bill Rancic, USA Today columnist Rhonda Abrams and
experts from Intuit, Square and Bigcommerce will be at QuickBooks
Connect Atlanta to educate and inspire attendees.
The event also includes a panel featuring local small business owners, from Bohemian Guitars and Southern Culture Artisan Foods, who will discuss their lessons learned and successes specific to the Atlanta community.
Tips for the Sharing Economy
Small business owners,
developers and accountants are not the only ones who can benefit from
the event. Self-employed workers fueling the sharing economy, like Lyft
drivers and TaskRabbit Taskers, will have an opportunity to attend a
special evening session to learn about finances, taxes and how to keep
their unique businesses afloat in today’s on-demand economy.
