MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Three small businesses are close to scoring a big win in the QuickBooks Small Business Big Game contest – an expenses-paid, 30-second television commercial during professional football’s biggest game on Feb. 7.
The top three finalists, Chubbies Shorts, Death Wish Coffee Company and Vidler’s 5 & 10, were announced at Intuit Inc.’s (Nasdaq:INTU) second annual QuickBooks Connect conference in San Jose, Calif. The three were among a group of 10 finalists who attended the event.
“These three finalists each generated tens of thousands of votes and rallied support from their local communities and on social media. It demonstrates the passion owners and their customers have for their small business,” said Ken Wach, senior vice president of marketing for Intuit’s Small Business Group. “We’re excited to give the small business community a voice on the national stage and help one small business achieve a dream that may have previously been unimaginable.”
The three finalists collectively obtained hundreds of thousands of votes, each surpassing the number of votes secured by the other seven contenders. From California to New York, the three finalists include:
