Intuit Powering Up Productivity for Accountants

New Lacerte Trial Balance Utility and Productivity Symposium Aim to Help Accountants Save Time

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

To help accountants do more in less time, Intuit Inc. (Nasdaq:INTU) introduced a new trial balance utility for Lacerte tax software users. Intuit also announced it will host a series of one-day symposiums in June, providing training on everything from how to use Intuit solutions more efficiently to how to successfully market a practice.

The new Lacerte Trial Balance utility allows Lacerte tax software users to integrate virtually any trial balance data into the tax return. Using the utility, accountants can adjust journal entries or make tax-line assignments within the Lacerte tax software. The solution eliminates setup work and helps streamline time-consuming work during the busiest time of year for accountants. The new solution is available for $450 per license with an annual maintenance fee of $150.

The Lacerte Productivity Symposiums will take place in 12 U.S. cities from June 14-27. Each event will offer six unique training tracks. They include "Paperless Office", "Data Entry Tips and Tricks", "Practice Management", "Lacerte Trial Balance Utility", "Cleaning Up QuickBooks Data", and "Marketing Your Practice". Participants will be able to learn from Intuit presenters, expert practitioners and from each other. Attendees will receive various learning materials and have the opportunity to earn CPE credits. Admission to the symposiums is $499 and $399 for those who sign up before June 8. To view the full schedule of Productivity Symposium dates and register, visit www.lacertesoftware.com.
